What this site collects.

Short, because the site does very little. The contact form is the only place you hand over anything personal, and all it does is send us one email. Nothing you do here is sold, traded, or followed anywhere else.

01

The short version.

If you never fill in the contact form, you never hand this site anything about you personally. There is no account to make, nothing to log into, and no advertising network watching you here.

If you do fill it in, it becomes one email to us. We read it and we write back.

02

What the contact form collects.

The form asks for six things:

  • Your name.
  • Your business name.
  • Your trade.
  • Your town.
  • Your email address.
  • What you want to tell us.

Your name, your trade, your email address and your message are required. Your business name and your town are optional, and the form sends without them.

We ask for those six because they are what a person needs in order to write you a useful reply: who you are, what you do, where you do it, and how to reach you.

03

Where it goes when you press send.

Those fields are sent to us as a single email through Resend, the service that delivers our mail. It arrives in the LocalKeel inbox and we reply to you from there.

There is no database behind this form. The website does not keep a copy of your message, and nothing you type is stored on it. Your message lives in our inbox the way any email from a customer does, and we use your email address to answer you.

04

The bot check on the form.

Every page on this site loads Cloudflare Turnstile, and the check itself runs on the contact form. Turnstile is how we tell a person from a script without making you decode a picture of a street sign.

To do that, Cloudflare processes your IP address and signals about your browser. It is a security control that keeps junk out of our inbox, and it is not an advertising tool.

05

Hosting, and the traffic figures we see.

This site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like every host, Cloudflare records the requests it serves, and it gives us an aggregate view built from them: page views, performance, roughly where visitors are, and which sites they arrived from. Cloudflare also adds its own small analytics script to the pages it serves for us.

That view is a set of totals. It is not tied to your name, and we cannot use it to pick you out. We do not run Google Analytics, an advertising pixel, or any cross site tracking.

06

Booking a call.

Every “Book a short call” button on this site is a link, not an embed. It opens Cal.com, which is a different company’s website with its own privacy policy. Nothing from Cal.com runs here, and it is not given anything about you by this site.

If you go ahead and book a time there, we see the booking details you chose to give Cal.com.

07

What else a page loads.

Two files on every page come from outside our own servers: the typeface, from Google Fonts, and the animation library behind the level and the beams, from jsDelivr, a public code library.

Asking either service for a file tells that service your IP address and which browser asked, the same as on any website that uses them. Neither one is given anything you type here.

08

Cookies and what is left in your browser.

We set no cookies of our own. We loaded this site fresh and checked: a normal visit leaves nothing behind in your browser, no cookies, no local storage, nothing to clear out afterwards.

Cloudflare’s security and analytics layers are the only things here that could store anything, and what they are for is keeping the site standing and counting visits, not building a profile of you.

09

What we do not do.

Plainly, so there is nothing to infer:

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade anything about you. Not to anyone, at any price.
  • We do not run advertising networks or advertising pixels.
  • We do not follow you around other websites.
  • We do not put you on a mailing list because you used the contact form. You wrote to us, so you get a reply.
10

Asking us what we hold, or telling us to delete it.

Write to hello@localkeel.com and say what you want: a copy of what we hold about you, a correction to it, or deletion. What we hold is the email your form submission created, plus anything you have sent us since.

LocalKeel is a brand of Waz Investments LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. That company is the one answering.

11

If this changes.

This page describes the site as it is built today. If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
