How it works · The whole process

No homework. Here is the whole thing.

Five steps from a first conversation to a site running on your own domain. You approve the site before you pay for it, and nothing on this page depends on you learning anything.

The process · Five steps

Every step, in order.

The tape runs the whole way down. Hover a step to measure to it, or click one to hold it there.

  1. Step 01

One short call, about 30 minutes.

We talk about your trade, your town, and what is actually getting in the way. It is a sales conversation and we are not going to dress it up as something else. It is also the only way we can tell you what we would build for you and what it would cost.

    What happens
A short call about your business, not about software.
    Who does what
We ask the questions. You talk about the work you do.
    What you see
What we would build, the full price, and whether it is a fit.
  2. Step 02

    We build the real site.

Then we go and build it. Not a mockup, and not a template with your name dropped into it: the actual site, for your trade, in your town. You have paid nothing at this point and you are committed to nothing. On the larger sizes we build the core pages first and the rest follows once you approve.

    What happens
We hand build your site before any money changes hands.
    Who does what
We write the copy and build the pages. You keep working.
    What you see
Your real site, ready to look at.
  3. Step 03

You approve it. Payment starts there.

Approving the preview is what starts payment. That is also where you pick the size that fits your business and how you want to pay for it: once, or across 30 monthly payments that leave the site yours at the end. Nothing is held back for a negotiation, so the number you were quoted is the number you pay.

Three sizes, both payment paths, and the arithmetic printed →
    What happens
You approve the preview, pick your size, and pick your payment path.
    Who does what
You decide. Nothing starts until you do.
    What you see
The exact number you agreed to, with no new line items.
  4. Step 04

It goes live on your domain.

The site publishes on your own domain, hosted by us, with no separate hosting bill to manage or forget. Lead capture and owner notification are part of the website itself, so a homeowner asking for a quote reaches you whether or not you ever add a subscription.

    What happens
We publish the site and wire up the lead capture.
    Who does what
We handle hosting and everything technical. You do nothing.
    What you see
Your site live, and a notification whenever somebody asks for you.
  5. Step 05

Then the optional part, if you want it.

Once the site is live and wired, we show you the AI Office Manager: the optional monthly service that answers the leads your website produces and keeps them on the record. It is separate from the website you already own, the website purchase never depends on it, and nothing gets switched on quietly. It opens with a free 30-day trial, and that trial only starts once the service can actually work for your business.

    What happens
We show you the optional service after the site is already live.
    Who does what
You decide whether you want it. Saying no changes nothing.
    What you see
What it does, and the exact first charge date before anything is charged.
Your part

What we need from you.

This is the whole list. It is short on purpose.

What we need from youThe whole list

Yours

  • One conversation to start.
  • A look at the site when it is ready.
  • A yes, or a straight answer about what is wrong with it.

Ours

  • Writing the copy.
  • Building every page.
  • Publishing it on your domain.
  • Hosting it and keeping it running.

You never log into a website builder, you never write the copy, and there is no software to learn to keep your own site running. If the work lands back on you, we have not done our job.

Straight expectations

What we will not promise you.

Every one of these would make the sale easier. None of them would be true.

That you will be at the top of Google.

Where you rank depends on your market, your competitors, and time. Anyone selling you a position is selling you a story.

A number of leads or jobs per month.

We do not know your market, your prices, or how you run the work. Neither does anybody who quotes you a number before they have looked.

That it all works overnight.

Some of it works the day it goes on. The rest builds slowly, month over month, and we would rather you hear that now than later.

A date we cannot hold.

We will not invent a delivery date to close a sale. You pay nothing until the site is in front of you, so that risk sits on our side of the table, not yours.

Book a short call Here is what we will promise: you see the finished site before you pay for it.
Straight answers

Questions about the process.

Is the call a sales call?

Yes, and we would rather say so than pretend it is something else. It is a conversation about your trade, your town, and what you need. At the end of it you know what we would build and what it costs, with no second call needed to get the real number.

What if I do not like the site you build?

Then you do not pay for it. That is the entire reason we build it first: you are looking at the actual site instead of a promise. Tell us what is wrong and we will take another pass at it, or walk away and owe nothing.

How long does the whole thing take?

It depends on the size of the site, and we are not going to hand you a date we cannot hold just to win the sale. You pay nothing until the site is in front of you, so the cost of that answer sits with us.

Do I have to take the monthly service?

No. The website is a purchase, not a subscription. You can own and use your site without ever adding the monthly service, and lead capture and owner notification keep working either way.

Who writes the words on my site?

We do. You are not going to be handed a content questionnaire and left to write your own service pages. If something we wrote is wrong about how your business actually works, you tell us and we fix it.

What happens after it goes live?

It stays hosted and running on our platform, with no separate hosting bill, and the lead capture keeps working with no subscription attached. If you add the optional monthly service, those leads get answered and kept on the record too.

Dead level

That is the whole process.

One conversation, then a site you can look at before you pay for it. If it is not a fit, we will tell you on the call.
